ICF/MR

 
The Metzenbaum Residence is an Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (I.C.F.M.R) and is located on the Metzenbaum Center grounds. The ICFMR offers four housing units that accommodate 40 individuals. The ICFMR provides quality care as well as intensive medical support 24 hours a day/7days a week to meet the specialized health needs of individuals with MR/DD. Individuals residing at the ICFMR also benefit from active treatment programming. This programming allows each individual the opportunity to improve on or develop skills needed to move on to smaller, less restrictive community based residential settings.
