Families and Friends of Metzenbaum Center is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization comprised of family members, professionals and interested persons wishing to serve on behalf of individuals who have MR/DD conditions in Geauga County.
 
The mission of this organization is to:
 
Provide mutual support for those who care for our special children and financial support to enrich the lives of the students and clients we serve.

Each year this organization hosts a major fundraiser: The Quilt and Craft Auction, held the first Saturday of November every year.  The proceeds of this fundraiser are allotted to individual programming areas by request in an effort to supplement needs not typically budgeted for from the county board budget. This year will mark the 28^th time of such an event.
