Early Intervention

Our Early Intervention Program is a system of services and supports for children from birth through age two and their families. The needs of the family and child are determined by parents and professionals using the IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan) process. All of our Early Intervention Specialists are certified by the Ohio Department of MR/DD. We offer the following services:
- Developmental evaluations and assessments
- Services in the community (day care centers and homes)
- Afternoon and evening Therapy Playgroups
- Occupational, Physical, Speech, and Music Therapy
- Transition Planning
- Transportation
Families who are eligible must have an infant or toddler who is a resident of Geauga County, less than 3 years old, and have a documented developmental delay or who has been diagnosed with a condition that might lead to a delay.
