Chardon High School Gymnastics Team members Nicole Titterington, Rachael Lyons, and Melissa Ludwig traveled to Metzenbaum Center on Tuesday, May 26th to provide a gymnastic demonstration for the students in the school as part of a Summer Olympics put on at Metzenbaum. The Chardon athletes demonstrated a wide range of floor exercise skills from very basic to advanced to the delight and amazement of those watching, and then assisted Metzenbaum students with trying some tumbling moves themselves. The athletes visit, arranged through Chardon High School athletic director Tim Armelli, was a wonderful interaction between the Chardon athletes and Metzenbaum students and helped provide an excellent visual demonstration of a sport many students are unfamiliar with. All three girls will graduate from Chardon High School this year and have college plans for the fall.
