4th Annual GCBMR/DD Golf Outing

The fourth annual MR/DD Golf Outing is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course at 1:00 PM. Lunch and dinner are included. Sponsors and golfer applications are still being accepted. Profits from the event will be donated to the Citizens for MRDD which supports the Metzenbaum Center. Cuts in ODMRDD Funds

For State Fiscal Year 2009, ODMRDD has already cut $435,000 in funding. The new State budgets, which begin in July, are still being put together between the governor, house, and senate. The recent news from the State is that tax revenue is $2.6 billion less than projected, with even more cuts possible to come. The board is looking at several options to reduce costs while maintaining services and efficiency. We are open to any suggestions you may have in helping us reduce costs.
